What a difference a day makes! US stocks pulled back sharply on Thursday and this mood moderated enthusiasm for risk currencies like the Aussie and Kiwi. Recall I posted an article earlier this week about what to watch for with the weekly S&P500 so make sure you do your homework over coming weekends! Today brings NFP so watch to see if this news adds to the jitters at all. The US$ remains range-bound, as does Gold, but watch for any new momentum breakout moves. Recall also that Monday is a holiday in the US.
Data: watch today with US NFP.
DXY: no momentum breakout yet but watch trend lines; especially with today's NFP:
S&P500 4hr: note the pullback to the support trend line so watch this for any new make or break:
ASX-200 4hr: back below 6,000 BUT this remains in focus for any new make or break:
Gold 4hr: no breakout yet:
EUR/USD 4hr: drifting and nothing shaping up here for me at the moment:
AUD/USD 4hr: so much for the Bull Flag! Watch the 61.8% fib and weekly 200 EMA for any new make or break:
AUD/JPY 4hr: note the pullback to the 7-yr trend line so watch this for any new make or break:
NZD/USD 4hr: Weaker here too so watch 0.67 for any new make or break:
USD/JPY 4hr: still coiling here:
GBP/JPY 4hr: could not hold above the 40-yr bear TL so now watch the 140 level for any new make or break:
